Trash to treasure on glittering glam-pop anthology.
This isn’t for lightweights. This isn’t your generic grab-bag of the obvious Bowie and Sweet hits. This is (mainly) obscure hard-core stuff, for the true heads. Yes, it’s sprinkled with a few party starters, Slade’s , Alvin Stardust’s – but even there you see the wilful desire to avoid the regular first choice. And yes it’s got on it – but it’s a truth universally acknowledged that every record should have on it, or at least that orgasmic, spread-eagled swandive of an intro, on a loop.
