RELIANT REGAL 3/25 DE-LUXE

If Iam totally honest, I can’t quite remember now how this particular adventure started. I am, though, fairly confident that it is Alan Denne’s fault. We had recently finished the Montego project and were getting deeper and deeper into the Cortina down the workshop, plus I had several other projects on the go at home. Quite clearly, I definitely did not need or want another one. So why oh why did Alan start browsing cars for sale on the internet one lunchtime and then insist on sharing them with me? He knows how weak-willed I am in this regard. I wouldn’t have minded if he had stuck to cars which held little or no interest for me. Ferrari? Meh. Porsche 911? No thanks, not today. Vauxhall Louts Carlton? An incredible car, but not really my thing. Reliant Regal? Ah, let me have a look at that...

We are all different of course, but while a Ferrari or a Porsche are so far out of my league that they barely register on my radar, I do have a fondness for the odd little three-wheelers from Tamworth.
