JAGUAR E-TYPE

Fifty thousand pounds or more is what you should be paying for an E-type. That is an awful lot of money, but you should definitely buy one if you can because in early coupé form they are possibly the most beautiful motor car ever designed. Even if an E-type doesn’t work very well, you can still just go to your garage and look at it – that alone makes it worth the investment. That’s what Jaguar collectors do with their previousdecade XK120s anyway – the driving dynamics of the XK mean most of them are just static ornaments to be displayed and admired by lucky collectors who also have other and friendlier classic Jaguars to enjoy on the roads. This does not apply to E-types, which are frequently in regular and joyous use.
