One can make the most wonderful things for a bike with only the most basic hand tools combined with some perfectly learnable skills. For this article I decided to compare some hacksaws, blades and files. For sawing aluminium I would usually recommend 24TPI (Teeth Per Inch). I did test a new vari-pitch blade Sealey sent me with a 20/24TPI pitch.
