It’s always reassuring to find someone who’s done a job before that you are about to tackle, especially if you are unsure about what potential disasters may hit you. I was in such a position when my local garage, MJ Motors, offered me the use of their two-post ramp, block and tackle and expertise (when needed) so that I could remove the engine and gearbox from our MGB GT to replace the rear main oil seal, which we believe is the cause of an engine oil leak.
