High bidding in Lynch-Bages sale
Stellar results at a Sotheby’s auction of Château Lynch-Bages wines, including the ‘mythical’ 1961 vintage, have again shown the pull of bottles sourced direct from winery cellars. Collectors from Europe,Total sales hit £877,826 (US$1.16m), eclipsing a pre-sale high estimate of just under £700,000.
