A little further on in this issue we’ve given our esteemed contributor Andrew Jefford a double helping of pages for hismany of our team are still very much engaged in it, from our new apprentice, who is absorbing knowledge at a ferocious pace, to WSET candidates at all levels, all the way to the dizzy, if gruelling, heights of the Master of Wine qualification. There’s always more knowledge to discover in a subject as broad and deep as wine, and curiosity is an essential tool to help you enjoy it to the fullest. So let’s raise a glass to curiosity. It may not be good for cats, but it’s great for enjoying wine.
