Building Regs Part O: Are you ready?

Until now, many of us have not paid a lot of attention to overheating when designing and building our homes — we’ve tended to focus more on keeping houses warm in the cooler months. But this is changing with the publication of Building Regulations Part O: Overheating.

The updated Building Regulations took effect from June 2022 and while the measures in Part O are not designed to guarantee comfort, they are there to protect the occupants’ health and welfare.
