Work, rest and play

Appropriately enough, it was the VCB Days rally at Llangollen that provided the opportunity to test the Racing Sixties as a rally tool and see how it dealt with long periods of fast roads and a weekend’s worth of camping gear. I try to pack a minimal amount when I’m away rallying. Tent, sleeping bag and mat, couple of changes of clothes and toiletries are about the lot, and I’ve got loading it down to a fine art. Place it in a motorbike tank bag, throw on a couple of Rokstraps, and we’re done. All that remains is to strap it to the rack and we’re away.

And this is where the Racing Sixties has its weakest point. I’m sure even the least observant of you have noticed
