As I walked through Tyrone’s neatly parked collection, he shared anecdotes from his childhood, when his dad owned a 1971 Beetle. His cars might currently be under cover, but there are serious plans to build what he calls his “carthedral”.
Tyrone revealed details about the quality of the chrome that Volkswagen used in the ’60s and ’70s, specific badges used on the cars and seat trimming for select special additions. I merely listened and tried to take in as much as possible. His
