CATCHING A KILLER NURSE

When nurse Charles Cullen walked into Helen Dean’s hospital room and said he needed to administer an injection, nobody flinched. After all, he was a trained medical professional. Why wouldn’t they trust him?

It was September 1993 and Helen, 91, was about to be discharged after undergoing breast cancer surgery. Her son, Larry, was asked by Cullen to leave the room while she had the medication.

Everyone did as they were told.

Yet, the very next day, Helen Dean died from heart failure.
