After a hiatus of two years because of ‘you know what’, Car of the Year is back – bigger and brighter than ever thanks to sponsorship from Kingstown Shipping. The first heat was held at Surrey Street Rodders’ Wheels Day in April, which is the traditional kick-off event for the American car calendar and after a busy summer it will soon be the grand finals of this year’s Kingstown Shipping Car of the Year competition.
Held over the weekend of November 11-13 at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show at the NEC, Birmingham, this year’s competition promises a fantastic selection of the UK’s finest American cars, so we hope you’ll make it along to check out the cars and team. We’ve been travelling up and down the UK over the summer, holding heats of the Car of the Year competiton at the UK’s biggest American car shows; the final heat took place at the Mopar Nats in August and now it’s time to pick one overall winner.
