WHILE I was never as excited as the media regarding the Chris Eubank Jnr-Conor Benn fight, simply because the way I saw it was that if Benn won, everyone would have said Eubank Jnr was weight-drained, and had Eubank Jnr triumphed it would simply have been a case of him being too big.
Now of course we are unlikely to never know, but the one word of wisdom that has come out is from Tony Bellew, and that is anyone, and that really does mean anyone, even Conor Benn, should be banned for life if it’s proven they have taken drugs of any sort.
Such a ban should put a stop to anyone taking drugs in our sport if a real lifetime ban was enforced.
