The future of the state-owned Meat Corporation of Namibia (Meatco) is a cause for great concern, according to Thinus Pretorius, chairperson of Namibia's Livestock Producers' Organisation.
Pretorius, who was speaking after Meatco's annual general meeting (AGM) in Otjiwarongo on that the corporation had been plagued by financial challenges over the past decade, which directly affected the country's red meat producers.
