HE ADMISSION OF New Zealand’s pioneering Grand Prix champion Hugh Anderson MBE into the MotoGP Hall of Fame this year is long overdue. An international career that lasted seven seasons netted the Kiwi four world championships for Suzuki involving 25 race wins and 47 podiums. At the time of his retirement at the end of 1966, he was the sixth most successful GP rider ever.
