WHEN ARTIST KRISHNA HEFFERNAN (nee Grant) explores the bushland surrounding her home in Queensland’s Granite Belt, she takes note of the details; whether it be a tree trunk, a wildflower’s delicate stamen or tiny bush orchid. Inspiration is often found in the rugged Girraween National Park, just two kilometres away.
