LONG TIME, NO SEA

While the natural world simply lives by the cycles of night and day, the changing of seasons, temperature and weather, we human beings are severely restricted by the constraints of something we invented ourselves. The real irony, however, is despite all our clocks and calendars, our watches and wall charts, we still have no control whatsoever over time as it moves in its own mysterious ways for, rather than some neat, linear construction, it’s only ever been a ragtag assortment of cobbled-together moments that do their own thing exactly when and how they want to.
