MIA AND ME: THE HERO OF CENTOPIA U

OUT 21 OCTOBER CINEMAS

Based on successful kids’ TV show, this ’tooner bookended by superfluous live-action segments - is a tame but well-meaning adventure, tailor-made for moppets but without much to offer any tag-along grown-ups. After being transported to a magical land full of elves and unicorns, Mia (Margot Nuccetelli) enlists the help of her colourful friends to prevent the monstrous Toxor from poisoning all and sundry. While the animation and story are relatively basic, an underlying positive message about friendship will still win over kids.
