F YOU ARE A activism, then you probably have heard of Bryan Buckley and all he has done for veterans in this space. Buckley and his Marine Corps unit were a force to be reckoned with in one of the most dangerous valleys in Afghanistan. He held the role of special operations team commander with the Marine Raiders and led deployments in Operation Enduring Freedom-Trans Sahara in Africa and South East Asia, as well as Operation Enduring Freedom in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan. For his service, he received the Bronze Star Medal with “Combat Distinguishing Device” for heroic service and the Purple Heart Medal for wounds received during combat operations.
