SWEDEN 390

When I first started out as a sailing instructor at UKSA we were lucky enough to have three Sweden yachts in the fleet. The smallest one, Outreach, was my favourite. She was one of 73 Sweden 390s built between 1991 and 2006. Unlike the larger Sweden yachts which are sleek and lean-looking, the 390 has beautiful curves. There’s a lovely touch of sheer without sacrificing too much interior volume and the generous 3.87m beam tapers beautifully to a neat stern.
