5 Fiction Magazines

When I think about “The End,” I think of a good story. And while poetry and nonfiction are capable of delivering a good story, I wanted to focus on a few fiction magazines this time, though some of these markets do publish poetry and nonfiction as well.

The good (or bad) thing about publishing short fiction is that query letters lose their importance. A fiction writer’s success depends on how successfully their stories capture the attention of editors. If the story captivates, then it will be published; if not, then it may need to find a different editor.
