If you want a new iPhone then, goodness knows, you have plenty of choice. Apple has blessed us with four new models this year, namely the iPhone 14 and Plus, along with the iPhone 14 Pro and Max (see overleaf). The plain iPhone starts at a £849 for the 128GB model, a £70 increase from last year, and comes in a new range of tasteful colours: pastel blue and purple options, a dark navy blue called Midnight, the pearl-like Starlight and bold Product(Red).

Aside from the palette, the iPhone 14 looks very much like the iPhone 13, with the same-sized 6.1in screen and identical placement of buttons and ports. The aluminium casing and the Ceramic Shield covering the display are unchanged, as
