‘We celebrated some true shining stars’

There were tears of empathy and joy plus laughter aplenty as household names and unsung heroes gathered last week to attend the annual HELLO! Inspiration awards.
Celebrities including Davina McCall, Dame Joan Collins, Dame Kelly Holmes, Rochelle Humes, Lisa Snowdon and Clara Amfo came together at luxury hotel Corinthia London to celebrate those who go above and beyond to help others.
The event, now in its fifth year, was sponsored by luxury childrenswear retailer Childsplay Clothing and hosted once again by Woman’s Hour and Countryfile presenter Anita Rani, who said: “These awards are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate amazing people who have done incredible things. It’s just a great room full of powerful women having a lovely lunch and the room is just a bubble of joy and sparkles.”
