Cheverells Farm, located on the Highlands Road in the gorgeous Elgin Valley, is a third-generation family farm run by Catherine Boome and her husband Selborne. A 47ha apple and pear operation with 35ha under production, it is also a delightful weekend getaway spot, offering two self-catering cottages, a restaurant, gift shop, yoga classes, painting classes, or simply the opportunity for long, reflective walks.

The names of the cottages, Kiku and Braeburn, are a nod to two popular apple varieties and the importance of the fruit to this farming region. There
