MATERIALS

○50cm ⅝yd) soft pink print fabric
○20cm ¼yd) light grey print fabric
○40cm ½yd) white spot print fabric
○20cm ¼yd) yellow print fabric
○65cm ¾yd) multi-coloured stripe print fabric
○40cm ½yd) pale blue print fabric
○Scraps of assorted print fabrics ○1.2m 1⅜yd) backing fabric — see Marilyn's Backing Tip
○Batting at least 115cm (45in) square
○Pre-cut papers for English paper piecing (optional). You will need 1in honeycombs, 1 in squares, lin pentagons and 1¼in diamonds. Refer to Step 1 below for the number of each shape you will use in this project
○Template plastic and fine permanent-marking pen ○Stiff paper and a scrap of cardboard
○Fabric glue (optional) Spray starch
○Perle 12 thread in white (hand quilting)
○Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
○Sewing machine with ¼in foot
○General sewing supplies

101 x 102cm (39¾ x 40¼in)

Note: Read all the instructions before starting the project. It is recommended that fabrics for the quilt top be 100% cotton, pre-washed
