BLOOD LUST

FOR A LITTLE OVER A DECADE, AMC Networks cornered the episodic horror market with their global hit franchise The Walking Dead. Starting in 2010, the series based on Robert Kirkman’s comic book spawned three spin-off series (with others still in development) and is just now coming to a close after an impressive 11 seasons.

Looking to expand its horror empire, AMC has now turned to the beloved works of bestselling gothic horror novelist Anne Rice, creating series based on her Mayfair Witches and Vampire Chronicles books.

Executive producer/showrunner Rolin Jones ( is launching the universe with , which takes its name from the first book in Rice’s Chronicles. The primary characters driving the series’ narrative are two of the best-known vampires of modern literature (Dracula aside): Louis de Pointe du Lac and the more and .
