TENSION

14.5 sts and 12 rows measure

10x10cm (4x4in) over htr st using a 5.5mm hook, or size needed to obtain correct tension

Alternatively, measure tension as 29 sts over 20cm (8in)

NOTES

The Front, Back and Sleeve Panels are worked bottom up in rows as separate pieces. You can adjust the Sleeve length if necessary at the point mentioned in the pattern.

The Cardi is finished by adding button band, hem and cuff trim, and embroidering chain stitch and French knots over the flower Motifs.

Each flower Motif is worked using the Charts on page 85. Each small square of the Chart represents 1 htr st. Read all RS rows from right to left and WS rows from left to right.
