I’m guessing that many RC readers will be aware of the great Ducati glut of the 1960s, but just to recap: this was when US importer Berliner Motors abruptly refused an entire shipment of over 3000 Ducatis they could not find buyers for and turned to AMC in the UK, telling them that they wouldn’t import any more Matchless motorcycles unless AMC found someone to purchase the unwanted shipment.
