Crocodiles and alligators

Gigantic jaws

Alligators and caimans have short, wide snouts to catch larger prey while gharials and crocodiles use their long, pointy snouts to catch fish. They all have powerful jaws that can be firmly snapped shut to drive rows of knife-like teeth deep into prey.
