Locked in and out!

Over the years I have accumulated some wisdom regarding keys. The first rule of living in a hostel is to always leave your bedroom’s door key in the lock if you are behind it doing something naughty. I learnt this when the house mother (a very stern 77-year-old) of my hostel one day suspected that I was bunking class, used her master key to unlock my door and caught me smoking away in bed. She reported me to the student’s council and I was gated.

Always make sure you have a spare ignition key for any work car, and if not, report it. On occasion a colleague of mine dropped
