Welcome
he first time I saw a picture of the stunning pink sky in this week’s The Buzz (page 13), I thought it looked like a UFO had arrived. team worked in an office with no high-rise buildings nearby. We were on the fifth floor, and faced west. This meant that almost every afternoon the blinds were pulled down to cut down the glare on our computer screens. But there were times the glow of a spectacular sunset would pierce through and, row by row, those sitting next to the windows would wind up the blinds to look. As they did, everyone else would get up from their desks to admire the magnificence of mother nature at work. It’s so easy for us to get wrapped up in our day, or be staring at a screen, and forget to look up. But there is wonder out there. And best of all, it’s available to everyone, and it doesn’t cost a single cent!
