AWAY WITH MY GROWN-UP KIDS

At Christmas, as my husband Erik and I pulled crackers over the turkey with our three grown-up children, Henry, 27, Matt, 24, and Lily, 19, I was filled with a warm glow of maternal love – and perhaps a little too much mulled wine.
