Do a final cut
This is the time to give your lawn a final mow before the growth slows down for the winter. Don’t cut lower than 2.5cm to allow the grass to build up strength for the winter months ahead. Top-dressing with the mower will also prevent weeds getting out of hand. Take the opportunity to give your lawn some TLC - rake vigorously, aerate with a garden fork and neaten the edges with a half-moon lawn edging tool.
