It’s a gas: nitrous GP

When it comes to two-stroke engines most of us have, at one time or another, added a cylinder kit, exhaust or big carb in the search for more power and performance. No matter how good those upgrades may be, we’re seldom happy with what they offer ‘off the shelf’ and will often spend large sums of money getting the engine tuned in order to squeeze out that little bit of extra power. What if it was possible to add power at the flick of a switch and give your scooter an adrenaline boost? Well, it is possible and while it’s not a new idea, it has seldom been seen on a Lambretta – or any scooter for that matter. We’re talking about nitrous oxide injection.
