These days the range of options for arranging private flights is seemingly endless. For those who don’t own their own aircraft, there are fractional ownership schemes, jet cards, subscriptions at private operators, one-offs through brokers, empty leg resellers, new apps that aggregate available private segments that would otherwise go unsold, and even hybrid models where private-style flights on small jets operate on a scheduled basis. In other words, there’s never been a better time to escape the commercial airlines, though the range of choice can be bewildering.
