HE WAS a promising young rugby player but his dreams of playing professionally were dashed when he started hanging out with the wrong crowd.
But Jaseen de Jongh from Atlantis, near Cape Town, managed to turn his life around and he and his wife, Jamilla, went on to raise sons who are as crazy about the sport as he once was.
Now the couple have been rewarded with two rugby success stories in their family. Their boys, Shah-Jehaan (18) and Jameel (17), were recently selected for the Springbok junior teams.
