THE PERFORMANCE LID

Can a helmet really be worth nearly two grand?

That’s what you’ll have to pay for AGV’s top-of-the-line, state-of-the-art road racing lid, the Pista GP RR, a premium competition helmet aimed at providing the best track functionality currently on offer.

Developed through heavy involvement in MotoGP and WSBK racing, every aspect that matters has been carefully considered and optimised for “on the limit” performance. Despite that, it still works as a road-only helmet (even if it is like driving a Ferrari in a shopping centre).

There are many important aspects to helmet design, by far the most important being the shell. It should be strong, light and aerodynamic.
