Australian Architecture: A History is an impressive new release in the architectural landscape. Author Davina Jackson has an extensive résumé having written several books, essays and articles on Australian architecture over the years. She was also editor of the AIA magazine Architecture Australia between 1992 and 2000.

From the century. As she says at the beginning, this is “not a coffee table book”. It was written to be used as a reference book for architecture students and academics, but is also a fascinating read for anyone with more than a passing interest in the built world around them.
