I wrote this book because Ontario is a culinary region and I wanted to remind everyone of the bounty that grows here. The convenience of getting what-we-want-when-we-want-it has made many of us forget the delicious food that grows under our hungry little noses. Once I started working closely with farmers, my recipes were simplified yet even more flavourful than ever because the food was fresh, sometimes harvested that day!
