THE IDEAL BLEND

There’s a saying that sometimes life gives you exactly what you need, when you need it. That’s what happened to Aucklanders Anna and Andrew Methven when they were house-hunting four years ago.

The couple met in 2011 when Andrew was an executive chef at SkyCity and Anna a florist. Having spent a few years renting, they were looking for a house for their merged family of four daughters, ranging from teenagers to a six-year-old. “We were looking for a five-bedroom house so each of the girls could have their own room,” Anna says.
