1 TEARING APART THE BEAST
THIS CASE has plenty of panels, covers, and trays that need to be removed first before we start piecing together our PC. Getting it onto our workstation was as fun as you can imagine, so to remove some weight we started by taking off the wing doors. These panels are secured by one screw each from the top. Simply loosen these and then pull the doors upwards. They sit on vertical hinges which makes it easy to lift them on and then re-install.
We won’t need these until the end so we recommend putting them back into the PC box, just add some foam or protection to ensure the glass panel doesn’t get damaged. Anyway, once both the front panels are removed, we can take off the fan grills and covers, which are easily popped off with no screws in sight. We’ll also be removing the three case fans and the HDD mounting trays found at the bottom of the case. We can’t put aside the three fans but the undertrays can be put aside, it’s SSD only for this machine.
4 ATTACK OF THE FANS (EPISODE II)
for the Star Wars puns. So after the AIO is in the front of the case, we can re-install the Corsair case fans at the top of the case. This will result in
