SECURITY CAMERAS AN IMPORTANT ASSET FOR BUSES

Working in the bus industry poses a number of challenges. One of those downfalls – that every operator hates to experience – is abuse and assaults on drivers.

Sadly, most operators will face abuse at some point in their career. A recent survey from the Rail, Tram & Bus Union of 100 metro Tasmania bus drivers found that seven in 10 drivers have been threatened on the job, and an astounding 98 per cent had been verbally abused.
