□ Two 2.25mm double-pointed needles (DPNs) for i-cord
□ Stitch holders or waste yarn
□ Toy filling
□ Red colouring pencil
□ Black embroidery thread
□ 2 black safety toy eyes, 6mm diameter
□ Green pipe cleaner or craft wire, 30cm long
□ White pipe cleaner or craft wire, 30cm long
□ 8 black beads, 6mm diameter
□ A 2mm crochet hook
TENSION
34 sts and 42 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over stocking stitch using 2.25mm needles

BODICE PICOT EDGING
Cast on 30 sts using 2.25mm needles and Yarn E.
Row 1 (RS) Knit.
Row 2 Purl.
Row 3 *K2tog, yo; rep from * to last 2 sts, K2.
Row 4 Purl.
Row 5 Knit.
Row 6 Purl.
Break yarn and leave sts on a holder.
LEGS (MAKE 2)
Cast on 10 sts using 2.25mm needles and Yarn B. Start at the foot.
Rows 1 to 14 Starting with a RS knit row work in st st.
Row 15 (RS) Kfb, knit to last st, kfb. [12 sts]
Rows 16 to 34 Starting with a WS purl row work in st st.
Break yarn and leave sts on a holder.
Work second Leg in the same way but leave sts on needle, cont to Body.
BODY AND HEAD
With RS facing and Yarn E, cast on 2 sts at start of row, knit to end of second Leg, with RS facing return to held sts of first Leg, cast on 2 sts, knit to end of first leg, turn, cast on 2 sts. [30 sts]
