MESSAGES POUR IN FROM AROUND THE WORLD REMEMBERING THE QUEEN ROYALS, POLITICIANS AND STARS SHARE TRIBUTES TO THE MONARCH

As lights dimmed across the country and flags flew at half mast, tributes to the Queen poured in from around the world. The London Eye, the BT Tower and Wembley Stadium went dark, as did theatres across the UK and the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Black London taxis also came to a standstill outside Buckingham Palace while the Empire State Building in New York glowed in purple, to “honour the legacy” of Her Majesty. Meanwhile monarchs, international leaders and celebrities shared their thoughts about the passing of the Queen, with many recalling fond memories of moments
