It is an art to subvert the norm; far more exciting to do it in plain light. That, you see, is the impact of artist Anupam Sud—the elusive printmaker who is exhibiting 215 of her works, over five decades of practice, at a special show titled ‘BetweenVows & Words’ at the KNMA in Delhi.

Anupam’s forte is her psychology-laden etchings and printmaking—women and men in urban settings conveying the emotional and physical discomfiture lingering just below the surface.
