Natural Selection

Emma Stothard is a sculptor whose outdoor pieces, mainly comprising lifelike portrayals of animals woven from willow and steel, have won plaudits from around the country. “I can’t sing and I can’t play an instrument, but I can draw, and as a child I was encouraged to,” she says of her early artistic awakening.
