Loro Parque: how to plan a visit

WITH more than 50 million visitors since its formation in the early 1970s, Loro Parque in Tenerife is well known to birdkeepers around the world as an establishment of avicultural excellence. It specialises in the breeding and conservation of parrot species, in partnership with the Loro Parque Foundation.

Thanks to their work, 10 species of parrots have been saved from extinction and $24 million has been invested in protecting birds and their
