Do what you love, and you will never work another day in your life. The old adage seems to resonate with Peter Pela, the man behind the popular dog cruise aboard the luxury yacht Royal Albatross.
At 50 years young when many chose to retire, Pela decided to run a tight ship – literally. The self-professed workaholic is living his passion for water sports and dogs as the owner of a historic vessel. Singaporeans may have spotted this ship in Channel 8 television drama series My Guardian Angel or as Bruce Wayne’s super yacht in the movie The Dark Knight. Built in 2001 in the United States, her sails and rigging were designed by master rigger Jim Barry, who also designed the ships featured in the Pirates Of The Caribbean movies.
