Star Letter DX appeal

As a long-term Nikon user, I am somewhat dismayed at the apparent lack of enthusiasm Nikon has for the future of the DX format. The current mirrorless cameras and lenses offer a limited selection, and sit at the lower end in terms of specification and performance. The official roadmap offers little hope in terms of delivering higher-specification cameras, in similar vein to the excellent D7000 series.
