BACKGROUND Air Transat is a low-cost Canadian carrier based in Montreal. It flies from London Gatwick to Calgary, Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto and Vancouver.
This is a review of its London Gatwick–Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International route, which is operated by its A321 neo LR, configured with 199 seats across Club Class (premium economy) and economy. The route was suspended during the pandemic and restarted in early May 2022.
CHECK-IN Air Transat operates from Gatwick's North Terminal at Zone E. I arrived at the airport at 0900 for the 1135 departure.
There are several desks for economy class, some self-service machines, and a separate desk for Club Class. There were no queues and a staff member checked my documents ahead of reaching the desk.
